We are seeking a seasoned Agricultural Sales professional to lead our category management efforts at Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will drive growth in the agriculture segment by formulating and implementing effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and execute sales strategies to boost revenue in fertilizers and related products.
  • Category Management: Manage product categories to ensure alignment with market trends and customer needs, while meeting sales targets.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and improvements in existing offerings.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiation & Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing, while managing vendor performance to meet company standards.
  • Sales Reporting: Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

In this role, you will work closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives. To succeed, you will require a minimum of 5 years of experience in fertilizer sales or category management at the zonal/national level.

The ideal candidate will possess a BSc./MSc. in Agriculture, preferably an MBA, and a proven track record of managing product categories and achieving sales targets. Strong negotiation skills, vendor management abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and industry connections within the agriculture sector are also essential.

Our estimate for the annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
