Key Account Manager for Utility Division

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to lead our Utility Division sales efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to prospect, commercialize, and maintain high-value accounts.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a territory management plan to drive growth in the Utility Division. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and providing technical support to ensure industry-leading service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect continuously for new clients and develop strategies to acquire new business.
- Analyze local market trends to identify market opportunities, prospective companies, and associated buyers.
- Develop and submit proposals and responses to queries issued by prospective clients after obtaining pricing and specifications approval from management as appropriate.
- Manage customer projects and trails to ensure industry-leading service and support.
- Interface with Customer Service, Sales, Operations, and Technical teams as needed.
- Maintain good relationships with existing clients and explore business enhancement opportunities.
- Proactively identify and engage with key decision-makers in the company's business segment, providing product presentations and technical support.
- Meeting all customer representatives and providing detailed product knowledge.
- Maintain good working relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with technical service teams for application support/complaints, etc.
- Develop relationships with customers, internal partners, and external partners while fostering their confidence in respective product lines.
- Monitor trends in the industry by working with customers, trade organizations, and brand owners, using this knowledge to set priorities for growth efforts.
- Participate/exhibit trade shows to market new and existing products.
Requirements:
- B.E. (Mech.) / Electrical degree or equivalent experience
- 10-15 years of industrial Business sales experience
- Background in working with national highways, infrastructure, EPC for infrastructure growth, lighting, road safety, infra project sales
- Proven ability for technical selling and ability to prospect, commercialize, and maintain accounts
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate to a variety of audiences
- Strong technical background and excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated team player with exceptional people skills and character
- Sound IT computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
