
Sales Territory Manager

This role is a key position in our organization, responsible for leading the commercial efforts across the region in India to maximize market opportunities. As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing business operations, including maximizing sales and market share gain for products and/or services throughout assigned regions in India domestic and regulated markets.
Main Responsibilities:- Business Development Strategy
- Contribute to the development of a business strategy on global accounts growth objectives.
- Determine strategies for selected accounts.
- Buid the wallet share of business for API products in India.
- Lead operations and day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses and monthly order forecasting for production planning.
- Grow the share of business, as well as expand relationships within customers identifying influencers, gatekeepers, decision-makers within the region of India.
- Deploy a strong consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify their supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions.
- Interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses from the time orders are received to the time shipments are despatched as per customer requirements.
- Co-ordinate with the planning/production and Logistics/Shipping teams to ensure despatch as per customer time-lines, shipping documentations are provided to the customer and ensure payments are received by due-dates from the customer.
- Necessary interaction/co-ordination with various departments for samples, regulatory requirements, DMFs, and other documentation for new customers and regulatory approvals to meet statutory requirements of customers.
- Qualifications:
- At least 15 to 20 years of relevant industry experience in API sales and business development (India market focus preferred).
- High energy individual with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a hands-on, collaborative fashion with many different disciplines both inside and outside of the company.
- Demonstrated experience in contributing to the negotiation and closing of partnership agreements.
- Strong leadership qualities, including excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship management skills, strategic thinking, open-minded, and innovative thinking.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with incomplete information.
