Territory Sales Representative

Position Overview
The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for hunting new business from existing and new customers within a defined sales territory. This role involves managing a pipeline of sales opportunities to achieve targets through qualified leads generated by the Demand Generation and Sales Development organization and outbound lead generation from targeted prospect and customer lists.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the Territory Sales Hub Manager and prioritize the highest opportunity target accounts within the defined territory.
- Work with Sales Development Representatives to ensure smooth follow-up on sales leads.
- Evaluate customer profiles, create value messaging, and target main steps needed to accomplish account plans.
- Generate and close new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline within the assigned sales territory.
- Identify decision-makers and influencers along with their corresponding needs, timeline, and budget.
- Ensure that prospect and customer needs are understood and addressed by articulating how Autodesk solutions will accelerate their business.
- Utilize telephone, email, and web-based communication as the primary means of connecting with customers.
- Leverage field-based Territory Sales Executives.
- Leverage relationships with channel partners to improve all territory performance to exceed customers' expectations.
- Build the appropriate team for each opportunity, coordinating Autodesk personnel, including presales, consultants, and services, to lead value into the client base.
- Provide accurate billing forecasting and updates to sales managers.
- Exceed monthly sales targets/quotas and KPIs.
- Be a Trusted Adviser for customers and identify win/win situations.
- Help customers and Autodesk develop success reference stories.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, including selling complex technology solutions in Inside sales/office-based sales experience.
- Manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive.
- Team-oriented, database management.
- Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders to influence strategic outcomes.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent sales cycles.
- Promote to improve sales skills through on-the-job coaching, self-learning, and as defined by Autodesk sales career progression framework.
- Experience exceeding sales targets/quotas and KPIs.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- Work in a Hybrid work environment.

- Preferred sales experience in the Media and Entertainment Industry.
