As a Territory Sales Representative at Medtronic, you will be responsible for managing sales within your defined regional territory. Your primary goal will be to achieve sales revenue through generating orders for our PMA products and representing the organization in accordance with its policies.

A Day in the Life
  • Achievement of volume objectives along with achievement of key product objectives for both primary and secondary numbers.
  • Successful launch of new products by right execution and implementation in the area.
  • Ensuring periodic validation and maintenance of customer/account data.
  • Maintain Core customer relationship to ensure continuation of business.
  • Ensure effective adequate territorial coverage as per divisional standards of customers.
  • Ensuring implementation of promotional strategies & utilization of inputs while keeping Medtronic policies in mind.
  • Ensure effective distribution by proper dealer management, operations, strategies & inputs. Also ensure that channel compliance towards Medtronic policies are completely adhered. Ensure that DSO, POC etc are maintained as per guidelines.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor in/ Engineering / Science
  • MBA in Sales and Marketing
  • Minimum 3-6 yrs sales experience in Concept Selling/ Medical Devices Selling is Mandatory
  • Experience of Distribution Management
  • Willing to travel extensively

·Strong Interpersonal skills, with focused People/Customer/Result orientation.

·Strong grasp on the market and understanding around the complexities, competition, customer preferences etc

·Ability to prioritize and execute as per the needs of the business and the current set of challenges

·Strong analytical skills (to understand local markets and customer needs) in order to develop region specific plans, strategies and tactics.

·Ability to quickly revector and improvise the business model if the current model is not yielding desired results
