Position Overview

The Territory Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within a designated territory. This involves managing a pipeline of sales prospects, leveraging qualified leads, and executing outbound lead generation strategies to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Report to the Territory Sales Hub Manager and prioritize high-potential target accounts within the assigned territory.
  2. Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to ensure seamless follow-up on sales leads.
  3. Evaluate customer profiles, create value messaging, and develop account plans to drive sales growth.
  4. Generate and close new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
  5. Identify decision-makers and influencers, understanding their needs, timelines, and budgets.
  6. Articulate how Autodesk solutions can accelerate customers' businesses, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
  7. Utilize telephone, email, and web-based communication as primary means of connecting with customers.
  8. Leverage field-based Territory Sales Executives and channel partners to improve territory performance and exceed customer expectations.
  9. Build and coordinate teams for each opportunity, involving Autodesk personnel, including presales, consultants, and services.
  10. Provide accurate billing forecasts and updates to sales managers.
  11. Exceed monthly sales targets, quotas, and KPIs.
  12. Establish trusted adviser relationships with customers, identifying win-win situations.
  13. Contribute to developing success reference stories with customers.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 8+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, including selling complex technology solutions in inside sales/office-based sales environments.
  2. Manage difficult situations with a positive attitude.
  3. Team-oriented, with database management skills.
  4. Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders to influence strategic outcomes.
  5. Ability to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles.
  6. Commitment to ongoing sales skill development through on-the-job coaching, self-learning, and Autodesk's sales career progression framework.
  7. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, quotas, and KPIs.
  8. Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  9. Hybrid work environment.
  10. Customer-focused, impact-driven, and data-driven.
  11. Preferred sales experience in the Media and Entertainment Industry.
