We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the Chennai market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our market share.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in selling software solutions to the BFSI and enterprise sectors. Strong understanding of the Chennai market dynamics, customer segments, and competitive landscape is essential.

You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the BFSI and enterprise sectors, leveraging existing networks and generating leads through proactive outreach. You will also build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers, to understand their business needs and position our software solutions effectively.

In addition, you will lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to maximize their performance and ensure alignment with sales objectives. You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to drive coordinated efforts in delivering value to customers and prospects.

To be successful in this role, you must provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in selling software/solutions to the BFSI and enterprise sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the Chennai market dynamics, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive new customer acquisition and achieve revenue targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities and a customer-centric approach to sales.
