Proposal Development Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Proposal Development Specialist to spearhead proposal development for federal IT projects, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop winning bids by aligning with client objectives and adhering to federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to gather requirements, craft compelling proposal sections, and drive project success.
  • Oversee proposal schedules, deliverables, and content using project management tools.
  • Edit, review, and refine proposal content for IT solutions.
  • Maintain compliance matrices and IT-focused content libraries while ensuring seamless coordination of proposal reviews.
  • Stay current with federal acquisition regulations, IT industry trends, and agency-specific IT requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in proposal development/writing for U.S. federal bidding for IT projects.
  • Expertise in federal procurement processes and IT compliance standards.

Proficiency with tools:

  • Microsoft Office Suite for proposal drafting and technical diagrams.
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro for document editing and compliance.
  • SharePoint or Google Workspace for IT team collaboration.
  • Proposal software for managing IT proposal workflows.
  • Project management tools for tracking IT project bids.
  • IT-specific tools for architecture diagrams and software proposal versioning.
