Research Executive Position

This is a high-level job that involves various tasks including research, proposal writing, field work material preparation, questionnaire preparation, project management, client management, time management, and collaboration.

  • About the Role:
  • This position requires someone who can manage projects independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • The role involves working closely with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering high-quality solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Writing:
  • Develop a clear understanding of the project brief and create robust proposals that meet the client's requirements.
  • Draft well-structured proposals ensuring accuracy and quality.

Field Work Material Preparation:

  • Prepare comprehensive materials for field work including brief notes, budgets, and show cards.

Questionnaire Preparation:

  • Learn the basics of questionnaire design, flow, filters, routing, and scales.
  • Design high-quality questionnaires for simple projects and digitalize them with the scripting team.

Project Management:

Manage field work processes, provide comprehensive field briefings, and plan project activities according to timelines.

  • Share research study pre-requisites with project management teams.
  • Debrief interviewers and POG teams on the study and questionnaire.
  • Finalize estimates, costing, and budgeting for projects ensuring RQs are correct.
  • Launch projects online in necessary software.
  • Prepare analysis plans for simple projects by understanding data analysis and preparing basic code lists.
  • Coordinate with project management and field teams.
  • Manage timely quotas.
  • Assist seniors in preparing first-cut presentations.
  • Raise timely invoices and submit them to senior/finance departments.

Client Management:

  • Manage clients independently for routine matters and address their queries.
  • Attend client meetings, make notes, and prepare minutes of the meeting.
  • Provide error-free insights and deliverables to clients.
  • Develop awareness of categories, brands, or industries on projects.
  • Generate client satisfaction scores and testimonials.

Time Management:

  • Follow up with relevant support teams according to timelines.
  • Submit client deliverables on time.
  • Manage and multitask project activities.

Collaboration:

  • Work independently with minimal supervision - inter and intra-team collaboration.

New Initiative & Skills Development:

  • Upgrade skills towards professional and organizational growth.
  • Stay updated on client businesses and categories.
