Position: Junior Policy Research Associate

Experience: 0–2 Years in Policy Research

Location: Jaipur (On-site, Government Project)

Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹60,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking to onboard a Junior Policy Research Associate with 1–2 years of focused experience in policy research to support a government-led project in Jaipur. This is a desk-based role that involves supporting senior officials with structured research inputs, documentation, and interdepartmental coordination. Candidates with a background in public policy fellowships (e.g., LAMP) or prior exposure to governance-focused projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct secondary research on relevant policy and administrative themes
  • Prepare policy briefs, departmental notes, and analytical summaries
  • Draft official communications, internal documents, and presentations
  • Track government schemes, legislative developments, and best practices
  • Support interdepartmental coordination and documentation requirements
  • Contribute to knowledge and reporting systems as per project needs

Qualifications & Skills

  • 0–2 years of direct experience in policy research or a government-facing policy role
  • Preferably a former LAMP Fellow or similar structured policy fellowship experience
  • Academic background in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Development Studies, or related fields
  • Strong written communication, analytical thinking, and structured documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a government ecosystem and adhering to timelines
  • Familiarity with policy frameworks, governance structures, and administrative processes

  • Full-time, on-site role in Jaipur
  • No fieldwork or ground-level research required
  • Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹60,000/month (based on experience and suitability)
