Squark IP is hiring for the role of Research Associate/ Senior Research Associate (IP monetization).

Job location: Jaipur/ Gurugram

Required qualification : B.E. / BTech / MTech / M.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology.

Note: Only candidates with background ECE/IT/CSE should apply.

Required skills:

  • 1 - 4 years of experience in the IP domain.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical literature in subject matter expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical writing.
  • Proficiency in technical research.
  • Good working knowledge of various patent services, including infringement analysis, portfolio mining, prior art search, landscape, patent analytics, etc.
  • Ability to analyse complex technical issues and provide technical and innovative opinions.
  • Ability to collaborate and lead small teams.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Technical analysis of patent documents.
  • Working in close collaboration with internal and external experts to help them in quantitative and qualitative analysis of patent portfolios from a technical and business perspective.
  • Meeting individual and project level targets ensuring timely delivery of internal & external reports.
  • Executing various processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Lead teams conducting research & analysis, including but not limited to infringement analysis, and claim charting, market research, prior art searches, target scouting, and invalidity analysis.
  • Handle calls with internal and external experts, explain complex technical matters to non technical audiences.
  • Publish blogs and research reports for the Company website.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical and patent information searches using an online database and other information resources.
