About the Position:

We are seeking a Head of Business Development and Sourcing to join our team at Handelnine Global LLP. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our core business model to new markets. Your role will involve identifying growth opportunities, crafting strategic plans for product launches, and establishing relationships with key partners to drive reliable and profitable sourcing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand Handelnine Global's core business model to new markets
  • Identify and assess growth opportunities in diverse global markets
  • Craft comprehensive strategic plans for product launches across multiple sales channels to maximize revenue and market presence
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key partners to drive reliable and profitable sourcing
  • Negotiate strategic agreements and partnerships that align with the company's growth objectives
  • Lead the experimentation and refinement of sourcing models to optimize cost and product quality
  • Implement KPIs and metrics to track the success of new initiatives and enable early course correction and strategic alignment
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team dedicated to business development and supply partnerships, ensuring they have clear goals and the necessary support
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the execution and success of the new business unit
  • Act as a proactive leader, identifying opportunities, overcoming challenges, building a team, and driving projects to completion with minimal day-to-day supervision

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in business development or partnerships, preferably within the e-commerce or consumer goods industries
  • Proven track record of working in global teams with a strong ability to influence and collaborate across various departments
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and use data to drive strategic decisions
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and motivate both internal and external stakeholders

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on experience
  • A hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work from home for the majority of your schedule while maintaining a strong connection to the company by reporting regularly to our Mumbai office and warehouse
