About the Role:

Collabera is seeking an experienced Benefits Administration Executive to oversee benefits administration for US and Canada employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of benefits regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and Section 125 plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage new hire benefits enrollments, annual open enrollments, and Qualified Life Events for employees in the US and Canada.
  • Efficiently manage the benefits mailbox, addressing inquiries from internal and external sources.
  • Coordinate and manage tasks related to benefits projects, ensuring timely completion and effective communication.
  • Reconcile monthly health insurance premiums, process related payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Liaise with vendors and brokers to resolve ongoing issues and plan future projects.
  • Conduct regular audits of enrollments, eligibility, and HSA/FSA funding on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with US benefits requirements as per IRS regulations.

Administrative and Miscellaneous Responsibilities:

  • Maintain benefits systems, generate reports as needed, and perform administrative tasks such as word processing, spreadsheet creation, faxing, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to the Benefits Manager.
  • Participate in departmental and company-wide initiatives.
  • Execute additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • MBA in Human Resources is preferred but not required.
  • Two to four years of experience in benefits or employee benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in computer and technical skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrated project and team management or leadership experience.
  • Strong planning and priority-setting skills, with the capability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of plan designs.
  • Understanding of benefits contract language.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Collabera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
