Job Description

Maersk is seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our Automotive team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers in the Automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth in the Automotive sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at our customers, including C-suite executives.
  • Identify and pursue upselling opportunities from our existing Ocean and Logistics customer portfolio, as well as bring similar opportunities from new customers to the table.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to address them.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales/commercial role within the logistics industry.
  • Expertise in developing effective supply chain solutions for customers.
  • Sales & business development experience in the Automotive sector, in the supply chain space, will be preferred.
  • Experience in consultative selling to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Great relationship building skills and customer orientation.
  • Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills, as well as an ability to be both persuasive and influential.
  • Self-motivated and performance-driven.
  • Growth mindset and high change agility – ability to learn new things quickly and can adapt to and champion change with peers and others.
