About the Opportunity

Illumina is expanding access to genomic technology to realize health equity for billions of people around the world. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be part of this journey, impacting lives and transforming human health.

Job Summary

We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking professional to develop and implement proactive talent acquisition strategies, build diverse talent pipelines, and ensure a consistent candidate assessment process. This role requires strong consulting and presentation skills, excellent communication and influencing abilities, and experience in conceptualizing and translating business objectives into talent acquisition solutions.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement proactive TA strategies to build a talent pipeline of diverse and qualified talents for current and future expansion business needs.
  • Act as trusted advisors to coach and advise on attraction, selection, and hiring to ensure a consistent candidate assessment process.
  • Collaborate with Business and HR business partners to build understanding of business requirements and map role criteria, define position descriptions, and requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end hiring processes from sourcing, screening, interviewing, salary proposals, and approvals to hire.
  • Organize and host branding events/recruitment drives to build pipeline.
  • Innovate and execute projects to improve recruitment processes.
  • Prepare reports, analytics, and presentations for leadership teams to provide insights on recruitment status and talent market landscapes.
  • Ensure positive experiences for all candidates at different stages of recruitment.
  • Participate in and contribute to employment branding activities.
  • Work collaboratively, share knowledge, and influence the Talent Acquisition team.

Requirements

  • Proven talent acquisition/HR experience.
  • Structured and able to think strategically and analytically.
  • Supervisory experience leading teams in recruitment.
  • Experience in developing, aligning, and executing recruitment strategies to meet recruitment initiatives and organizational needs.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in fast-paced, rapidly-changing environments.
