We are seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to join our team at Unacademy, India's largest learning platform. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion across the country.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, Unacademy brings together expert educators with millions of students in need of quality education. Our mission is to democratize education, making it accessible to all. With a strong presence in the online education sector, we are now expanding into the offline sector for IIT-JEE and NEET preparations, with 63 centers across India and a rapid growth pace.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the education industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

In this role, you will work closely with our sales team and other departments to achieve collective goals. Your input will be invaluable in shaping our product development roadmap based on client insights. Additionally, you will engage with prospective students, understand their academic backgrounds and career objectives, and provide enrollment assistance.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Business Development Executive or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of our products/services and the education industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
