About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Global Distribution Business Development Manager to join our team at TE Connectivity. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase market share within the distribution channel.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have the responsibility of managing the distribution channel and overall day-to-day business relationship between TE and strategic key distributors, collaborating with other TE BU's, and aligning with overall Channel BU market focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase market share within the distribution channel
  • Manage the distribution channel and overall day-to-day business relationship between TE and strategic key distributors
  • Collaborate with other TE BU's and align with overall Channel BU market focus
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop ideas/sales leads for new products, extensions of existing products and new sales channels for application tooling within TE's strategic key distributors
  • Work closely with TE's MENA, South Asia, and Europe sales teams to maximize growth opportunities via distribution channel
  • Cross-BU collaboration to identify co-op marketing strategies for TE solutions
  • Collect and evaluate market information and competitive intelligence and communicate regularly with Global Distribution Manager to meet strategic goals and initiatives and identify new ones

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Technical management
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a technical field
  • Proven skills in developing/implementing strategies in support of market segments, customers and products consistent with the overall business plan
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and to influence without direct authority
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation communication skills at all levels (Customers, Sales, Operations and Senior Management)
  • Strong project management and negotiation skills
  • Unquestionable ethics and respect for individual dignity and commitment to completing all TE Ethical Connections trainings
  • Computer proficient including MS Office, SAP, SalesForce, Power BI
  • Multi-lingual skills including fluent English

What We Offer

The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
