Sales Manager for Business Growth

Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager at Howden Insurance located in Chennai. The role involves tasks such as sales operations, sales management, account management, business development, and overall sales strategies to drive business growth and meet targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement successful sales strategies to drive business growth and meet targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure operational cohesion and effective foundation for future growth.
- Monitor and document the work schedule of staff and absences to ensure team members achieve agreed standards in relation to their job assignments.
- Train new staff on corporate policy rules to ensure that the buddy system is put in place to maintain the operation with minimal disruption in times of annual leave/sick leave/study leave and daily working hour schedules.
Requirements
- Sales, Account Management, and Business Development skills.
- Sales Operations and Sales Management experience.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem solving abilities.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is a must.
