Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion by developing and executing strategic plans to maximize customer satisfaction and supplier partnerships. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, business acumen, and the ability to execute instructions with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and implement supplier-specific initiatives to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Manage the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in sales or business development.
- Master's or Postgraduate degree in Sales or a related field preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and data entry skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Distribution center environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, high noise levels, and outside weather conditions.
- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
- On-call availability required as necessary.
- Professional, office environment with frequent travel required (50%).
