Business Value Services Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our cybersecurity team.

This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for cybersecurity and an interest in helping organizations maximize the value of their technology investments.

As a BVS professional, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business challenges, identify risks, and recommend strategies that enhance cybersecurity posture and overall business outcomes.

The candidate will consult, develop, and position economic feasibility assessments (business cases) to determine the economic impact of products and services.

Informed with this assessment, the candidate will prepare proposals for chief information officers, CISOs, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult and collaborate with prospects, customers, and internal teams to identify business objectives, pain points, and opportunities for improvement related to cybersecurity and risk management.
  • Conduct financial value analysis to evaluate cybersecurity risks and measure the business impact of potential security enhancements.
  • Assist in developing business cases and value-driven proposals for cybersecurity initiatives and technology investments.
  • Participate in the creation of presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Support the team in executing workshops, assessments, and stakeholder interviews to gather critical insights.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying innovative approaches to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field with a foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
  • 8-10 years' experience in vendor-side cybersecurity and/or value management experience.
  • MBA or undergraduate degree in business administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship or coursework experience in cybersecurity, IT consulting, or business analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies.
  • Understanding of financial modeling or ROI analysis for technology investments.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent are advantageous.
