Channel Sales Officer

**Position Overview**
The Channel Sales Officer is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with channel partners to drive sales growth in the IT sector. This role focuses on achieving sales targets by promoting IT products and services through indirect sales channels, ensuring high partner satisfaction, and expanding market presence.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Channel Partner Management**:
- Build and maintain relationships with channel partners such as distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
- Identify potential channel partners and onboard them in alignment with the company’s sales strategy.
- Act as the main point of contact for all channel-related activities and inquiries.
- **Sales Strategy Execution**:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets through channel partners.
- Conduct regular sales training and product demonstrations for partners.
- Monitor partner performance and provide support to ensure targets are met.
- **Market Development**:
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for business growth.
- Work closely with partners to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
- Drive promotional activities and campaigns through channel partners.
- **Relationship Building**:
- Foster long-term partnerships by understanding the partners’ business needs and aligning them with the company’s offerings.
- Provide ongoing support, including marketing materials, sales tools, and technical assistance.
- **Reporting & Analysis**:
- Track and report channel sales performance, including revenue generation and partner engagement metrics.
- Gather feedback from channel partners to improve products, services, and support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. (An MBA is a plus.)
- 4+ years of experience in channel sales, preferably in the IT sector.
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple partners and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
