JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for our acoustic solutions within the assigned area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Identification of dealers and sub-dealers in each geographic region.Assessing suitable business partners aligned with the company’s revenue and long-term scalability goals involves understanding prospective partners' strengths, including market knowledge, customer relationships, warehousing capacity, financial capabilities, sales infrastructure, back-office teams, project execution capacities, and more, ensuring overall deliverables and customer satisfaction for UniVic customers.Appointing distributors in accordance with dealer onboarding policies and finalizing contractual agreements that define roles, responsibilities, growth plans, and scopes of work.Educating and presenting to potential importers the acoustic products and solutions offered by UniVic, highlighting value adds such as quality, pricing, convenience, inventory, and scalability of local business compared to imports.Working closely with the appointed business partner network to generate leads and expand the customer base through dealer networks, distributors, and business partners, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across various market segments such as hospitality, commercial real estate, education, and others, based on the distributor's market segment.Encouraging and guiding all distributors to actively engage on digital platforms to showcase UniVic products and solutions, including websites, ecommerce portals like India Mart, and social media platforms such as , Facebook, Twitter, and more.Monitoring dealer performance and their exclusive investment of time in promoting and selling UniVic solutions, establishing growth plans to achieve company short-, mid-, and long-term goals.Identifying, planning, participating, and executing marketing and promotional campaigns like exhibitions and seminars targeting potential customers within the financial year on a cost-sharing basis.Collaborating with business partners to leverage their customer contacts and industry expertise to set up technical presentations for value-added acoustic solutions and specifications.Providing training and implementing CRM systems with respective business partners for data management, lead generation, analysis, and registration to monitor and assess performance.Ensuring efficient inventory management to ensure UniVic products and solutions are readily available to prospective customers within the set geography, enhancing revenue generation.Interacting with end-users (dealer’s customers) and documenting transaction experiences to understand customer feedback and areas for improvement, providing grievance redressal in case of negative feedback.Setting credit limits for respective dealers post-assessment to ensure their financial capability.Ensuring payment collection as per contractual agreements between UniVic and respective business partner organizations.Expanding geographic reach by identifying new market segments and distributor companies with a strong presence for UniVic products and solutions sales within those spaces.Monitoring project execution to ensure the right value is added to the final installed product, aligning with the company’s quality goals.Engaging with potential buyers and influencers to explore opportunities aligned with business partners for the right solution and pricing strategies to generate business revenue.Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with clients in sync with distribution for converting opportunities into sales.Establishing star dealer programs to incentivize, reward, and motivate partners to meet holistic business expectations such as sales, inventory, project management, capital, quality, and customer satisfaction, and assessing and providing regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the management team.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Skills:Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Good communication and interpersonal and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Empowering AbilityHigh on Ethics and IntegrityAbility to think creatively and innovatively.Ability to deliver and accountable as per set deadlines.Strong negotiation and commercial skills.Conflict resolution and grievance redressal ability.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.Competitor analysis and market intelligence.

Qualification and Experience:Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.5 + years of proven experience in sales roles, preferably in the acoustic solutions industry or related field.
