The Development team works collaboratively with the different vertical directors, faculty, operations, and the CCL enterprise to provide high-quality, high-impact leadership solutions to our clients. 

General Summary

The primary responsibility of the role is to grow CCLs business in India by leading and developing a team of business development professionals. This individual is also responsible for the oversight of client relationships in India and meeting revenue targets. Under the leadership of the Managing Director & Vice President APAC, this position shares accountability to expand CCLs positive impact across the Asia Pacific region. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Serves primary role of mentor and coach for Strategic Business Partners to ensure their continuing development and individual success throughout the sale process to meet their performance goals. Participates as active member of the Asia Pacific Leadership Team. Develops and maintains an India sales strategy, in support of the overall APAC Sales and Marketing plans, that balances both growth of CCL's existing long-term clients and proactive acquisition of new clients. Leads the business development team in India with responsibility for revenue generation to meet targets across CCL's product lines. Locally manages the process of capturing client needs and partnering with others to optimize product supply and review client satisfaction data. In partnership with the APAC Sales Leadership Team, ensures the development of his/her sales team and access to the knowledge assets and tools necessary to provide appropriate solutions for clients. Daily management of business development interface with CRM system and other CCL systems. Applies performance management standards to ensure accountability for both forecasting, reporting and revenue generation to ensure CCL meets its financial targets. Initiates contact with potential and existing clients along with sales staff (e.g. conferences, demand generation, etc.). Proactively develops and advances new accounts and relationships that support the regional and global sales strategy. 

Minimum Job Specifications (Requirements)

Education

Minimum Degree in business, marketing, related field or commensurate experience.

Experience/Work Background

Minimum 3 years of experience managing business development/sales & marketing function. 5-10 years of senior level business and business development experience. Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Ability to Coach and Mentor: A capable, willing, and active coach for sales professionals.Savvy about CCL capabilities across all leadership solutions and practice areas and ability to effectively integrate solutions based on client need.Demonstrated experience as a consultative sales professional in identifying clients' needs, working collaboratively to develop plans to address the needs, and partnering with other stakeholders to ensure appropriate resources to deliver the results promised in contracted work.Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and business acumen.Knowledge of the executive development field.Strong influencing and coaching skills in a fast-paced environment.Willing to travel 30-40% of the time.Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
