The Role

Job Description:-

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the agro-industry, specifically in dealing with Kabuli chana (chickpeas).
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges in the Kabuli chana sector. Analyze market dynamics, including supply and demand, pricing trends, competitor activities, and regulatory issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including farmers, wholesalers, retailers, and other stakeholders in the agro-industry value chain.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and distribution terms with customers and partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and market trends to evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies and make necessary adjustments.

Ideal Profile

  • You have at least 3 years experience within a Sales Operations / Sales Support role, ideally within the Agribusiness / Agritech industry.
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
