Job Description for Business Development Manager  (IT Service based agency)



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA in Marketing preferred
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in IT services sales in US & European Markets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective sales strategies
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on driving results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Experience in securing WordPress projects would be a significant advantage

Responsibilities:


  1. Lead generation: Proactively hunt for new business opportunities and generate leads for acquiring new clients.
  2. Sales strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets and expand the client base.
  3. Opportunity creation: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities aligned with clients' needs and objectives.
  4. Solution delivery: Provide timely and effective solutions to clients, addressing their requirements and concerns.
  5. Deal negotiation: Close deals by conducting balanced negotiations on sizing, costing, and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  6. Market penetration: Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire new clients.
  7. Presentation and proposal: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the company's value proposition and capabilities.
  8. Contract negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to effectively close deals and secure new business opportunities.
  9. Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with technical, delivery, and marketing teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  10. Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market trends
  11. Analysis and reporting: Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions. Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management.

  • This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager.


  • The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, developing growth strategies, building client relationships, and expanding the client base.


  • Ideal candidates should possess a strategic, solution-oriented approach and have the ability to engage senior-level executives.


  • Highly motivated individuals with excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills are encouraged to apply.
