Senior Business Development Manager

Area of Operation & Location: Office at Mumbai (Area of prime responsibility Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa)
Qualification: BE/ BTech Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation
Reporting to: Director Sales & Business Development
Experience: 10 - 15 years
Designation: Senior Manager (Business Development)
Key performance indicators:
- 3 presentation/ technical meeting/ week- 4 client visits/ week- Error of less than 5% in understanding application Vs Basic Engineering bill of material- Firm tender to sales no less than 10 Cr IN₹ in 1^st 12 months
Key responsibility areas:
1. To research, conduct technical presentations or technical meeting to convince customer to procure turnkey digitization projects2. Travel country wide (or as needed by project stake holders), developing tea/ coffee relationship with key decision makers at the end user/ OEM/ consultant3. Submission of budgetary proposals, pre bid level estimation of engineering and post bid support on detailed engineering4. Creation of a healthy sales funnel to generate prescribed RFQ for new business
Expected knowledge/ skills:
1. Industrial automation i.e. PLC, DCS, SCADA, Protocols & other equipment/ software/ services needed by the end user to bundle a commercially viable solution2. Knowledge of latest solutions & technologies in the field of digitization, industry 4.0, artificial intelligence (not mandatory) & internet of things3. Design, engineering, installation & commissioning hand- on experience4. Must have high level of relationship building, communication & negotiation skills5. Professional communication in English language
Typical past experience/ company exposure: Rockwell Automation/ Schneider Electric/ ABB/ Omron/ Emerson/ Yokogawa/ Delta/ OPTO 22/ Siemens/ Honeywell/ Fuji Electric/ large industrial automation company &/ or its authorized value-added reseller system integrators
