Role Overview: As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic sales and marketing initiatives to elevate our brand, increase revenue, and ensure a memorable guest experience. You will lead a talented team, develop comprehensive marketing strategies, and forge strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets. Lead market analysis, identifying trends and opportunities to enhance our market position.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to ensure team goals are met.
Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and other key partners to drive business growth and loyalty.
Marketing Campaigns: Oversee the creation and execution of compelling marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media. Ensure all marketing efforts align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience.
Brand Management: Manage the hotel's brand image, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all channels. Enhance our brand’s visibility and reputation in the luxury market.
Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior management. Adjust strategies as needed to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Revenue Management: Work with the revenue management team to optimize pricing, inventory, and sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Event Coordination: Work closely with the events team to promote and secure high-profile events and conferences, ensuring all aspects of event planning and execution meet our luxury standards.
Experience & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing in the luxury hospitality sector, with a strong track record of success.
Strong leadership skills with a history of building and leading successful, high-performing teams.
In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and best practices specific to the luxury hospitality industry.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Strategic thinker with a creative, results-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and CRM systems.
