Role Overview:

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and driven Sales Manager/Director to lead our sales efforts for this 0 to 1 sales role. This is a unique opportunity to shape the sales strategy, establish key relationships, and drive revenue growth from the ground up for a new product. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, capable of conducting meetings with potential customers, and closing deals effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with LangDB’s goals and market opportunities.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and target key markets and industries, focusing on customer acquisition and retention in the US and European markets.
  • Direct Sales: Engage directly with potential customers, leading the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Partnership Development: Establish strategic partnerships that enhance LangDB’s market positioning and customer base.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to the product and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs.
  • Scalability: Build the foundation for a scalable sales organization, including setting up processes, tools, and metrics for future growth.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years in sales within the technology sector, with a proven track record in driving new business, particularly in the US and European markets.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated and capable of working independently in a startup environment.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with AI, data infrastructure, and the challenges of integrating structured and unstructured data.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated ability to conduct meetings and close deals, building lasting customer relationships.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a focus on achieving measurable results.
