We have urgent job opening for Supply Chain Director job in well-established Automotive Manufacturing company in Pune, Maharashtra location.


JOB DETAILS:

Position: Supply Chain Director

Location: Pune, Maharashtra.

Salary: Industry Standards

Qualification: BE – Mechanical Engineering Preferably or Any Graduate with MBA.

Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of work experience into Global SCM from Automotive companies.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Creating and executing the global supply chain strategy in accordance with overall vision with the global supply chain team within the AEM and OEM Division.


  • Setting the structure and organization for the supply chain department to ensure alignment with the strategy.


  • Ensuring the supply chain meets the target KPI's set within; OTD, availability, stock turn, savings, and more.


  • Sponsoring strategic supply chain projects.


  • Creating an environment of development within the supply chain organization to ensure continuous improvement of capabilities, through the process house and focus on skills development.


  • Ensure that supply chain resilience is created through network and supplier planning in addition to securing back-to-back contract coverage in cooperation with sales and procurement.


  • Increase level of digitization within logistics, warehouse, customer service and planning to increase productivity and ensure higher visibility in the supply chain.

  • Global owner of the Sales & Operations Planning process to ensure continuous alignment of supply, inventory and demand to enable profitable growth.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 15 years of experience within supply chain management preferably within the automotive industry.


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent (engineering/commercials), having MBA in planning, logistics or supply chain will add advantages .


  • Experience working in matrix organizations with international working exposure.


  • Well-trained leader who understands to promote team members performance through coaching, visibility and constant motivation with high process discipline.


  • Strong business mindset and experienced in navigating through KPI’s objectives with lines directly to strategies with Digitalization in focus.


  • Outstanding organization and communication skills with participative management style. Preferably also experience within board communication


  • Fluent in oral and written English.
