Job Summary: The Junior Procurement Personnel will be responsible for supporting the procurement department in managing vendors, purchasing supplies and equipment, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of quality products and services. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement process by identifying and evaluating potential vendors and suppliers.
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain accurate vendor records.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure the best deals.
- Maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to procurement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
