BenQ - Area Sales Manager

- As the Area Sales Manager, you will be a key player in shaping and executing our sales and marketing strategy.
- Your role will involve overseeing and driving sales through various channels, managing and mentoring a team of sales professionals, and developing a robust sales pipeline for new business opportunities.
- You will play a crucial role in enhancing our company's market share and ensuring that our sales objectives are met.
- Your ability to work collaboratively with external distributors and internal teams will be vital for your success.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve company targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Create and oversee sales forecasts, performance reports, and sales pipeline management.
Channel and Account Management:
- Drive sales through established channels and manage key accounts to maximize revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external distributors and partners to enhance sales performance.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage, mentor, and coach a team of Regional Directors (RD's) to enhance their skills, performance, and career growth.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and support to ensure team success.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
- Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with internal sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on goals, strategies, and execution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive successful sales campaigns and initiatives.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics and KPI's to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven track record in channel and key account sales, with a strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.
- Previous experience in the IT industry, with a demonstrated ability to manage sales across a defined area or region.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team to achieve their goals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
