What You'll Do

As a Small & Large Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of small or large commercial lines insurance policies while fostering strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other industry experts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Offering comprehensive client support as the main point of contact
  • Selling and negotiating insurance policies
  • Building and nurturing relationships with insurance carrier representatives

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of experience in Small Commercial Insurance Sales or 5+ years in Middle Market Commercial Insurance Sales
  • Active P&C license and a willingness to obtain a CIC designation
  • Commitment to ongoing education as required by the CT Insurance Department
  • Thorough understanding of commercial lines coverages, industry trends, and client retention strategies
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle situations professionally
  • Excellent attention to detail, decision-making abilities, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
