Solutioning & Pre-Sales Support -


• Lead the technical pre-sales process for new data center projects including solution

design, capacity planning, feasibility analysis, and proposal generation.


• Translate client requirements (IT load, tier level, compliance, scalability, sustainability)

into optimized technical solutions.


• Conduct site surveys, gap analysis, and risk assessments to build tailored design

proposals.

Client Engagement -


• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on technical aspects, future-proof design, and

industry best practices.


• Participate in client meetings and technical negotiations to secure

business.


• Coordinate with BD teams to ensure alignment of solution with commercial strategy.

Design Governance


• Drive high-level design architecture (electrical, mechanical, civil, IT systems) and

validate against company standards and global best practices.


• Guide internal/external design consultants in preparing preliminary and detailed

designs, ensuring cost-efficiency and buildability.


• Review BOQs, design schematics, and layouts prior to proposal submission.

Cross-functional Collaboration


• Work closely with construction, operations, procurement, and project management

teams to validate solution feasibility and cost.


• Engage with OEMs, technology partners, and vendors to integrate latest

products/solutions into the design.

Team Leadership & Coordination


• Lead and manage the Solution Design team, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and

timely delivery of outputs.


• Coordinate with the Detailed Engineering function to ensure smooth handover of

designs and alignment between preliminary and detailed engineering phases.

Market Intelligence & Innovation


• Stay current on emerging technologies, energy efficiency practices, modular designs,

and international data center trends.


• Bring innovation to solutioning approach — including modular, prefabricated, high

density, or edge data center concepts

Requirement-

15+ years in Data Center Design, Pre-Sales, or Engineering Solutions preferably with any EPC firms, design consultants, or global colocation providers.
