We are looking for EPC Head of a large Indian Conglomerate with a rich legacy.This role is based in Mumbai and is open to remote work as well.  Head of Design & Engineering (EPC) Key Responsibilities •Lead multidisciplinary project engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, civil, instrumentation) for the design and execution of over 1000 greenfield CBG production units. •Develop and standardize modular plant designs optimized for scalability, local conditions, andrapid deployment. •Oversee the preparation and review of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. •Evaluate and approve vendor designs and EPC partners' submissions to ensure technical robustness and cost-effectiveness. •Establish design protocols that ensure safety, maintainability, operability, and compliance with Indian and international codes. •Provide leadership in troubleshooting design-related issues during commissioning and early operations. •Facilitate knowledge transfer to junior engineers and site teams; create engineering playbooks and design templates for replication. •Interface with regulatory bodies, certifying agencies, and consultants for project approvals and technical documentation. Preferred Background: 20+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, preferably in bioenergy, process industries, or large infrastructure rollouts. •Strong understanding of anaerobic digestion, gas processing, and composting systems. •Proven track record in managing large EPC projects with interdisciplinary coordination.
