Summary/Objective:


The Pre-Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving business growth by generating and qualifying leads, understanding customer needs, and effectively communicating the value proposition of products/services to potential clients. This role acts as a bridge between the sales and marketing teams, contributing to the successful conversion of leads into customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including but not limited to online platforms, events, and referrals.
  • Engage with prospects through calls, emails, and meetings to understand their requirements and effectively communicate the features and benefits of the company's offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for lead generation and pipeline management.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations tailored to the needs of potential clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products/services, industry trends, and competitor offerings to address customer queries and objections.
  • Manage and nurture the sales pipeline, ensuring smooth handover of qualified leads to the sales team for further closure.
  • Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on customer interactions and market insights.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and continuously seek opportunities to enhance pre-sales processes and techniques.
  • Should be open to travel


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales, sales, or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
