Role Overview:
We are looking for an Business Development Specialist who will drive the growth of Ridezy across multiple locations. This role involves market analysis, business development, and operational scaling. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with experience in fleet operations, business expansion, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion Strategy – Identify potential location for Ridezy's expansion and create a data-driven strategy for scaling operations.
Fleet & Operations Management – Oversee the procurement, deployment, and optimization of EV fleets in new locations.
Partnership Development – Build relationships with local dealerships, maintenance partners, and delivery aggregators (Zomato, Swiggy, Blinkit, etc.).
Revenue & Pricing Strategy – Develop competitive pricing models and revenue projections for new locations.
Government & Regulatory Compliance – Liaise with authorities for required permits, incentives, and subsidies for EV operations.
Customer Acquisition & Retention – Develop marketing strategies to attract B2C customers, ensuring a high retention rate.
Operational Efficiency – Set up SOPs for fleet maintenance, customer support, and service operations.
Financial & Performance Monitoring – Track key expansion metrics, optimize costs, and improve Ridezy's profitability.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 2-3 years in business expansion, operations, or fleet management (preferably in mobility, last-mile delivery, or EV industry).
Skills: Strong analytical mindset, business development, partnership negotiations, and financial modeling.
EV Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the electric vehicle ecosystem in India is a plus.
Startup Mindset: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a hands-on approach.
Networking Abilities: Strong connections in the mobility, logistics, or transportation industry.
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
