The Growth Manager for the Food & Grocery Delivery vertical will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and acquiring key partners for the platform. This position is focused on identifying opportunities for growth, acquiring new restaurant and grocery partners, managing relationships, and developing strategies to increase order volume and customer base. You will work closely with the marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment of growth strategies and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive partner acquisition (restaurants, grocery stores, and other vendors) and achieve revenue targets.
  • Partner Acquisition: Identify and approach potential partners, including restaurants and grocery stores, to onboard them onto the platform. Conduct presentations, negotiations, and close deals to expand the partner network.
  • Market Expansion: Lead efforts to expand the platform into new markets or regions, identifying growth opportunities and partnerships that will accelerate market entry.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant and grocery partners to ensure long-term collaboration, growth, and mutual success.
  • Growth Initiatives: Develop and implement growth initiatives, including promotional campaigns, incentives, and pricing strategies, to increase order volumes and customer engagement.
  • Data-Driven Growth: Analyze sales data, partner performance, and customer trends to inform decision-making and optimize growth strategies. Use key metrics like revenue, retention, and order frequency to drive initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to develop and execute growth campaigns, promotions, and operational improvements that increase platform usage.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Manage and coach a team of sales representatives or business development managers, ensuring they meet sales quotas and contribute to overall growth targets.
  • Performance Tracking: Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales growth, partner acquisition, order volume, and market penetration. Report on progress and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Competitor Analysis & Market Research: Conduct regular analysis of the competitive landscape and stay informed about market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Customer Retention & Upsell: Collaborate with the marketing team to create retention programs for existing customers, upsell opportunities, and loyalty incentives to increase lifetime value.


RequirementsQualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or growth roles, preferably in food delivery, e-commerce, or tech-related industries.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
    • Experience in scaling operations, entering new markets, and acquiring high-value partners.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to close high-value deals.
    • Data-driven mindset with a deep understanding of sales metrics, analytics, and growth levers.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the food and grocery delivery industry or with B2B partnerships in similar industries.
  • Familiarity with growth marketing tactics, including promotional campaigns and partnerships.
  • Leadership experience managing sales or business development teams.
