Overview:The HumanResource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of theHuman Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewingstaff administering pay benefits and leave and enforcing companypolicies andpractices.
KeyResponsibilities:
  • Partners with theleadership team to understand and execute the organizations humanresource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to currentand future talent needs recruiting retention and successionplanning.
  • Provides support and guidance to HRgeneralists management and other staff when complex specialized andsensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administerand execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such asproviding reasonable accommodations investigating allegations ofwrongdoing and terminations.
  • Manages thetalent acquisition process which may include recruitmentinterviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants particularlyfor managerial exempt and professional roles; collaborates withdepartmental managers to understand skills and competenciesrequired for openings.
  • Analyzes trends incompensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive baseand incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts andretains top talent.
  • Creates learning anddevelopment programs and initiatives that provide internaldevelopment opportunities for employees.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetingsterminations and investigations.
  • Maintainscompliance with employment laws and regulations and recommendedbest practices; reviews policies and practices to maintaincompliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends bestpractices regulatory changes and new technologies in humanresources talent management and employmentlaw.
  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Ability to prioritizetasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity professionalismand confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge ofemploymentrelated laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite orrelated software.
  • Proficiency with or theability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talentmanagement systems.
