Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Lead to drive growth for our furniture manufacturing business. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, expanding our distribution network, and developing strategies to enhance market share in both domestic and international markets.

Job Description

  • Responsible for Market Development & Growth
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels for growth (B2B, B2C, and project-based sales)
  • Expand the companys reach into new markets, including retail, corporate, hospitality, and export segments.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients
  • Responsible for Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, real estate developers, corporate clients, and distributors
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring profitability
  • Strategic Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Drive revenue targets through structured business development activities
  • Identify opportunities for product customization to suit client requirements.
  • Partnership & Channel Development
  • Build and manage partnerships with dealers, retailers, and distributors
  • Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across the supply chain
  • Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with the production, design, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide inputs for product development based on client and market feedback.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field
  • Min 5–10 years of proven business development or sales experience (preferably in modular furniture/interior/architecture/hospitality industry)
  • Experience in managing B2B and B2C sales channels
  • Familiarity with export markets is an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets
  • Number of new accounts acquired and partnerships established
  • Revenue growth from existing and new clients
  • Market expansion into new geographies or segments
  • Customer satisfaction
