Role & responsibilities
The Business Development Officer Shipbuilding is responsible for supporting the growth of the shipyards Ship repair division by identifying potential business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the development of strategic initiatives that align with the company's objectives. This role focuses on market research, lead generation, and proposal support, with the ultimate aim of securing new projects and expanding the shipyards footprint in the shipbuilding sector.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience in lead generation, client management, and proposal support, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships in a B2B environment.
Familiarity with the shipbuilding industry and knowledge of the regulatory and competitive landscape is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Business Administration, or a related
- An MBA or additional certifications in business development or sales management is a plus.
