We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine and excellent culinary skills.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing high-quality dishes for banquets and events.
  • Develop menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality of food presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct menu costing, inventory management, and waste reduction initiatives to optimize resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable hotel or restaurant chain.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage kitchen staff effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and food safety protocols.
  • Culinary certification or relevant education is an asset.
