Looking to onboard a skilled Sous Chef with expertise in Indian coastal cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and hospitality, with excellent culinary skills.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Assist the head chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure high-quality food production, presentation, and service standards are met.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Conduct menu costing and inventory management to optimize resources.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and feedback.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian coastal cuisine and its ingredients.
  • Excellent cooking techniques, including sauting, roasting, and grilling.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and quality control.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including refrigeration and dish washing machines.
