AGROCOM is also the Indian associate for AL-KO Kober, Germany (gardening machines); Yagmur, Turkey (power weeders and walking tractors); and Caravaggi srl, Italy (agricultural shredders).
Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Manager- Business Development with a strong exposure in the agricultural/gardening machinery sector. The role involves driving sales and expanding market share for our machinery products.
Key Responsibilities
- Introduction of new products in the market to drive business growth
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct regular customer visits for product demos.
- Prepare quotations and close sales with strong commercial and technical understanding.
- Maintain strong customer relationships.
- Manage and grow dealer/distributor networks
- Track competitor activities, market trends, and pricing developments.
- Coordinate with technical, service, and supply chain teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain CRM/sales reporting data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or MBA in Marketing.
- 5–10 years of experience in machinery, power tools, agricultural or gardening machine
- Strong understanding of technical specifications, industrial applications, and equipment performance.
- Proven experience in B2B sales and/or channel sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel.
