We are hiring for a leadership role in our India operations. This position is with a globally recognized EPC multinational specializing in industrial engineering and construction, with core expertise in the oil and gas sector.

Key Role Highlights

  • Full-time Permanent role
  • Location: Chennai (with preference for candidates from Chennai/Bangalore)
  • Sector: EPC - Oil & Gas
  • Reports to: Global Post-Order Department Management & India Purchasing Manager
  • Scope: Leadership of -50 people in post-order activities for major international projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Post-Order Department's operational and strategic activities in India
  • Supervise project-level expediting, vendor coordination, and compliance tracking
  • Drive training, talent development, and performance metrics across the department
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety, technical, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with global teams and promote continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Minimum 20 years of experience in Procurement Expediting for large-scale international EPC projects

Mechanical Engineering degree is essential

Proven track record in internal and shop expediting

Experience handling ARAMCO or other Middle Eastern clients

Strong command of English, both written and spoken

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; SAP experience preferred

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for vendor visits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to petrochemical or modularized projects
  • Familiarity with international supply chains and industrial equipment
  • Experience with digital transformation in supply chain processes is valued
