About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven international business development professional to strengthen and expand our presence in global pharmaceutical markets. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, achieving defined KPIs in assigned regions, and managing long-term client relationships. You will actively contribute to dossier licensing and supply, distributor appointments, and international client engagement through meetings and global business conferences.
The position also requires effective coordination with cross-functional teams, maintaining market-specific portfolio trackers, and providing regular business updates to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads and explore new opportunities in assigned international markets.
- Prepare, present, and negotiate business proposals and licensing/supply agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships through client meetings and international conferences.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for commercial and techno-commercial activities.
- Maintain and update portfolio trackers, dashboards, and market intelligence reports.
- Ensure timely reporting of business performance, opportunities, and risks to management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of global pharmaceutical markets and business processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and business reporting tools.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently or in teams.
- Cultural sensitivity and confidence in engaging with global stakeholders.
- Preferred qualification—MBA/Pharma background
