Overview The Export Manager - Lecithin specifically plays a crucial role in overseeing the export of lecithin products to international markets. This role is pivotal in maintaining and expanding the company's presence and sales in the global market, as well as ensuring compliance with international regulations and standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase lecithin exports to new and existing international markets
  • Negotiate sales contracts and terms with overseas customers and distributors
  • Manage logistics and transportation of lecithin products to ensure timely delivery
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and demand trends in international markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers and distributors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective supply chain management
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for export activities, including customs regulations and documentation requirements
  • Lead and manage a team of export professionals to achieve departmental goals
  • Monitor and report on export sales performance and market trends
  • Resolve any issues or complaints related to international shipments or deliveries
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to remain competitive in global markets
  • Coordinate with finance and legal teams to manage international payment terms and contracts
  • Stay updated on international trade policies, tariffs, and export regulations
  • Participate in international trade shows and exhibitions to showcase lecithin products
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or related field
  • Proven experience in international sales and export management, preferably in the food ingredients industry
  • Deep understanding of export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade agreements
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills for dealing with international customers and distributors
  • Experience in supply chain management and logistics for global shipments
  • Ability to analyze international market trends and develop effective sales strategies
  • Proficiency in documentation management for international shipments and trade compliance
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for food ingredient exports to different countries
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of export professionals
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and awareness of international business practices
  • Understanding of international payment terms, letters of credit, and trade finance
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed for business meetings and trade events
  • Familiarity with international quality standards and certifications for food ingredients
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing export operations
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for international sales, logistics, and market analysis
