Overview The Export Manager - Chilli specifically plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the export of chilli products. They are responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to expand the company's export market, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and optimizing supply chain processes.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute export strategies to achieve sales and market share targets
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential opportunities and trends for chilli exports
  • Manage the export documentation process and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain and logistics for efficient export operations
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with international clients and distributors
  • Monitor and analyze export performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team on export-related matters
  • Ensure timely and accurate shipment of products and manage export logistics
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints related to exports
  • Stay updated on changes in export laws, tariffs, and trade agreements
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote chilli products
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with international partners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of pricing strategies for export markets
  • Prepare regular reports on export sales, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Lead and oversee the export team, providing training and guidance as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in export management, preferably in the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of export regulations, trade compliance, and customs procedures
  • Excellent understanding of market analysis and international business practices
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation, contract management, and relationship building
  • Proficiency in supply chain management and logistics for international trade
  • Ability to adapt to cultural and business differences in various export markets
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with multicultural stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret export data and trends
  • Proficient in MS Office and export management software
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
