Overview The Export Manager - Spices plays a crucial role in overseeing the export operations of spice products, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and expanding market share. This position is essential for managing the end-to-end export process, maintaining customer relationships, and driving business growth.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for spice export activities.
  • Ensure compliance with customs and international trade regulations.
  • Collaborate with the production and supply chain teams to meet export requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with international clients and suppliers.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in spice exports.
  • Manage logistics and transportation for timely delivery of spice shipments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and distributors.
  • Monitor and analyze export sales performance and trends.
  • Provide guidance and support to export sales team members.
  • Prepare and manage export documentation and related paperwork.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote spice products.
  • Resolve any export-related issues or customer complaints effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align strategies.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of export activities.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in spice export management or relevant international trade roles.
  • Strong knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills for dealing with international clients.
  • Demonstrated ability in supply chain management and logistics for export operations.
  • Proficiency in market research and analysis for identifying export opportunities.
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships in global markets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Solid understanding of export pricing, contracts, and incoterms.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing export dynamics.
  • Familiarity with trade shows, export-promotion events, and industry networks.
  • Fluency in English and any additional language relevant to spice export markets.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and export management software.
