Business Development Manager – L&D / E-Learning Solutions (B2B)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager to lead sales and expansion for our Learning & Development (L&D) and E-Learning solutions. The ideal candidate understands corporate learning needs, can engage with HR/L&D leaders, and has proven experience in solution selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities for L&D, digital learning, and e-learning solutions.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Understand client needs related to training, upskilling, onboarding, and digital learning transformation.
  • Pitch customized L&D and e-learning offerings including training programs, LMS/learning platforms, content development, and blended learning solutions.
  • Conduct product demos, solution walkthroughs, and capability presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, delivery, product, operations) to design tailored client solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles including proposals, pricing, commercial negotiations, and contracting.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic key account management for repeat business.
  • Track market trends, competitor insights, and emerging technologies in L&D/e-learning.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and provide accurate sales forecasting.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–8 years of experience in selling corporate L&D solutions, digital training, LMS/e-learning products, or EdTech enterprise solutions.
  • Strong understanding of corporate training lifecycle (TNI/TNA, design, delivery, content, LMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to close mid/large-ticket deals with enterprise clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in consultative and solution-based selling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to HRTech or SaaS-based learning platforms.
  • Knowledge of content authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate), instructional design, or digital learning frameworks.
  • Existing network of L&D leaders, HR Heads, CHROs, and training buyers.
