Solar EPC Sales Engineer

- Identify and qualify leads for solar EPC projects, focusing on commercial, industrial, or utility-scale clients.
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility, understand customer needs, and recommend optimal solar PV solutions.
- Develop and present technical and commercial proposals, including project scope, timelines, costs, and financing options.
- Negotiate contracts to secure profitable sales agreements.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions meet technical and budgetary requirements.
- Work closely with procurement and construction teams to showcase the company's EPC capabilities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and identify new business opportunities in the solar EPC market.
- Contribute to developing and implementing effective sales strategies for the solar EPC division.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Renewable Energy (or a related field).
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the solar energy sector or related technical industries (e.g., construction, building materials).
- Strong understanding of solar PV technology, EPC project lifecycles, and the competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in sales tools and CRM software (preferred).
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as required.
- Experience in selling solar EPC services to commercial, industrial, or utility-scale clients.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of solar project financing options.
- Understanding of relevant building codes and permitting processes for solar installations.
